Common Home Health Hazards

We all want to keep our homes as safe as possible and negate the risk of potential health hazards. That being said, sometimes, problems will arise. There are a number of ways in which a health hazard can be introduced into your home, but it’s always a good idea to keep a lookout for some of the most common. To start, consider having your home periodically tested for radon, a naturally occurring (but radioactive) gas. High radon levels in your home can lead to serious health complications—although it’s impossible to detect without testing for it. Other common health hazards to be aware of include carbon monoxide, lead paint, and mold. Ask us about effectively staying on top of health hazards as a homeowner or real estate investor.
