Put Switches at Each Entry or Exit Spot
It is worth mentioning that, when drafting your home electrical and lighting plan, you should consider adding light switches at each entry and exit location; doing so will make it easy to brighten both the interior and exterior of your home. Some entry and exit places include your front, back, and side doors. These doors are often situated near interior and exterior sources of light that illuminate homes in attractive and appealing ways. Other entry and exit spots include garage doors and the doors that lead to patios and decks. Be sure to add light switches near those spots so that you can see clearly and move efficiently as you enter and leave the main section of your home.
